Discharge of contracts
A contract is discharged once it has come to an end. A contract can only be discharged if, firstly, your performance meets the criteria and you have successfully completed and followed all terms and conditions of the contract. Secondly a contact can become discharged if both parties have an agreement that it should be. If the agreement is based on the fact neither party has been able to carry out the contract this is called a bilateral discharge. An unilateral discharge is when one party has successfully carried out the obligations but both parties still agree to end the contract. (Green, 2013)
